We Make and Sell Hand-Crafted Wooden Decoys
We thank you for your interest in our wooden fish decoys and wildlife products. St. Lawrence River Decoys is one of the oldest manufacturers of ready-to-paint fish decoys. Each piece, whether it’s a fish blank or a finished ornament or decorative piece, is hand-crafted by Bob who has more than 50 years of experience with woodworking and finishing. All of our products are made from locally harvested white pine or cedar from our St. Lawrence County region.
We provide retail and wholesale orders for blank fish and finished pieces. You can find us at craft shows throughout the region and the country, or place an order by contacting us directly. You can also visit our workshop and retail space in Cranberry Lake, NY where we offer tours of our one-of-a-kind woodworking area, which is a unique experience for anyone but also ideal for school field trips and family visits.

All of our St. Lawrence River Decoy products are handmade in our Cranberry Lake, NY wood shop by Bob himself. Fundraising with SLRD
We have had several groups use our blank fish as a fundraising project with much success. A Connecticut group needed to raise money after their funding was cut. Another group had a wine/cheese night with their auction. The wine/cheese was donated by local businesses. One of our favorite “fish” auctions was in our hometown of Cranberry Lake, NY. Local folks painted the fish and helped to raise almost $10,000!! That is just mind-boggling when you realize that we are in a tiny, rural area of the Adirondack Mountains! This spring 4 lucky students will receive scholarships towards college. The community will have new picnic tables and the local library and high school library will have funds to purchase much needed materials.
Feel free to contact us for further information about using our painted fish to raise money for your next fundraiser.
